Independence Day
We celebrate Independence Day with great enthusiasm on 15th August. We decorate our organization and our founder raises the flag. We proudly sing the national anthem together. We honor the bravery and sacrifices of our ancestors. Local children join us, adding joy to the festivities with singing and dancing performances, making the day even more memorable and patriotic.
Republic Day
We at Shri Gajanan Sevabhavi Sanstha observe Republic Day by marking the adoption and enactment of our Constitution. The day begins with the flag-raising ceremony, followed by a speech from our founder to the attendees. To celebrate, sweet treats are distributed to the children, adding joy to the occasion. This day serves as a reminder of our nation’s democratic values and the importance of unity.
Marathwada Mukti Sangram Din
We celebrate Marathwada Mukti Sangram Din on September 17th each year, commemorating the anniversary of the Marathwada region’s integration with India in 1948. This day honors the historic event and the sacrifices made during the liberation struggle, reflecting on the region’s journey to becoming an integral part of our nation.
Ambedkar Jayanti
Ambedkar Jayanti, on April 14th. Is also celebrated at our organisation to honor the birth anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, a key figure in India’s social justice movement. We commemorate his profound contributions to equality, justice, and empowerment for marginalized communities. Through various events and programs, we pay tribute to his legacy and strive to uphold his ideals of inclusivity and dignity for all.
Shivaji Jayanti
We proudly celebrate Chhatrapati Shivaji Jayanti on February 19th, honoring the birth anniversary of the legendary Maratha warrior king, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. This day highlights his valor, leadership, and dedication to justice. Through our celebrations, we pay tribute to his enduring legacy and acknowledge his significant role in shaping the history and identity of our region.
